Christmas Tree Carpet

If you haven't got a carpet to put under a Christmas tree yet, it's very easy to make it yourself:
-Buy thick felt in desired colour about the size of 1 m x 1 m. Cut it into a circle.
- You can draw a circle easily by first finding the center of the felt by folding it into halves two times. Then mark it with a pin.
- Take a yarn and attach it to the center pin. Cut it into 50 cm length.
- Measure with the yarn spots around the felt at 50 cm distance from the center pin and mark them with the pin.
- Draw a circle with the help of the pins. The more spots you mark, the more even circle you can draw.
-Buy Christmas themed ribbon (about Pi * diameter = 3,14 * 1 m = appr. 3,20 m (but buy a little more, just in case)
-Stitch the ribbon around the circle.
-You could also stitch small pearls or crystals on the carpet for more decoration.
Thick felt is also good as it keeps a bit water, if you manage to spill some water while watering your tree.
